Oklahoma\u2019s Yul Moldauer will be defending his crown while two-time Olympian Sam Mikulak will be looking to take over again as the best all-around gymnast in America. Not too far behind is Marvin Kimble, who has been tearing up the international field this year.\u00a0 All twelve national team spots are up for grabs and it will be a dog fight during both days of competition to decide who makes the <a href=\"https:\/\/usagym.org\/pages\/post.html?PostID=21423&amp;prog=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cut.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>U.S. Championships Athletes | Odds of Making National Team <\/b><\/h3>\n<h6><b>Yul Moldauer (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making USA National Team: 6\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the last few years <a href=\"https:\/\/gymnasticsville.com\/ou-shutout-cga-banquet-awards-keeps-historic-winning-streak-alive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yul Moldauer<\/a> has been making a name for himself on the national and international scene. He is the undisputed leader of the Oklahoma men\u2019s gymnastics team who in April won their fourth straight NCAA title. At the 2017 World Championships he hit every routine and won a bronze medal on floor. If he continues at this pace, Yul is poised to make his second straight World Team during the first year that teams can qualify to the 2020 Olympic Games with a top three finish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AdktQ_I5k_E?start=62\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h6><b>Sam Mikulak (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 6\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sam is back to competing in the all-around this year and is starting to heat up. Three months ago Sam claimed his first international all-around win in three years at the Pac Rim Championships. At the National Qualifier, Mikulak won three events as a tune-up meet for U.S. Gymnastics Championships. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Colin Van Wicklen (Cypress) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 7\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2017 U.S. World Team alternate Colin Van Wicklen won the all-around title at the 2018 National Qualifier. He is highly motivated and determined to get back on the national team after not performing his best due to injury at the 2018 Winter Cup Challenge. Van Wicklen plans to compete one of the hardest vaults in the world at U.S. Gymnastics Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Alec Yoder (Ohio State) |\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Odds of Making National Team: 8\/1<\/b><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alec is one of the best competitors in the country. He finished third all-around at the 2018 NCAA Championships. This past March, Yoder won a pommel horse bronze medal at the Doha World Cup in a loaded event finals.<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<h6><b>Marvin Kimble (Salto Gym) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 8\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marvin has competed the most internationally for Team USA over the last few years and made a final at each competition. He captured a highbar silver medal at the 2018 Doha World Cup and helped Team USA win team gold at the Pac Rim Championships in April. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Allan Bower (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 9\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the last three years Allan is the one of the most reliable and consistent gymnasts in the country. At last years U.S. Championships Bower finished second All-Around and this year he is looking to challenge Moldauer and Mikulak for the all-around title. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Sean Melton (Ohio State) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 9\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sean finished off his senior year at Ohio State on top by winning the Big Ten all-around title and taking home the Nissen-Emery award, the &#8220;Heisman Trophy&#8221; for college gymnastics. He is also one of the strongest gymnasts in the country on rings and parallel bars. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Akash Modi (Stanford) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 10\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Akash won the all-around silver medal at the 2018 Stuttgart World Cup and Pac Rim Championships team gold. If he hits at U.S. Gymnastics Championships a World Team spot will be on his mind.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Shane Wiskus (Minnesota) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 11\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shane is on the rise, he helped lead Minnesota to second place team at NCAA Championships, their highest finish in program history. His second place all-around performance at the competition was a big reason why. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Cameron Bock (Michigan) |\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Odds of Making National Team:<\/b> <b>12\/1<\/b><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cameron placed second all-around at the National Qualifier and won the parallel bar title in the process. Cameron&#8217;s performance the 2018 Big Ten Championships was instrumental as his team finished second place. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Bobby Baker (Illinois) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 12\/1\u00a0<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bobby, the emotional leader of the Illini this year help Illinois win their first Big Ten title since 2012. He also capped off his senior year with a fifth place all-around finish at the 2018 NCAA Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Genki Suzuki (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 13\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Genki has been a rock for the Oklahoma Men\u2019s gymnastics team historic streak this year. He placed third all-around at the National Qualifier, while finishing top ten on three events. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Donathan Bailey (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 13\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Donathan is a solid all-arounder with big upside if he hits his routines. He showed that he is one of the best in the country by capturing the pommel horse title at the National Qualifier. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Robert Neff (Stanford) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 15\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robert is the 2017 and 2018 NCAA high bar champion. While he is known for high-bar, he should not be counted out in the all-around. Robert placed sixth in the all-around at the 2018 NCAA Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Donnell Whittenburg (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 15\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Donnell Whittenburg, a multiple time World Team member, is a beast and is solid on every event. He is recovering from shoulder surgery and U.S. Gymnastics Championships will be his first competition since last years World Championships. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Bennett Huang (Iowa) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 16\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bennett was Iowa\u2019s top all-around performer this year. At the National Qualifier he finished fourth all-around and fifth on pommel horse. When Bennett hits routines, he is always in the mix in any competition. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Levi Anderson (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 16\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you can make the all-around line-up for Oklahoma you know your good. Levi has been stellar all year and placed fifth all-around at the 2018 NCAA Championships. He is recovering from a recent knee surgery. Only time will tell if he will be competing at all at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Tristan Duran (Minnesota) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 17\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tristan Duran put on a performance of a lifetime at this year&#8217;s NCAA Championships for the Minnesota Gophers. He placed seventh all-around and his consistency was key in Minnesota placing second at the 2018 NCAA Championships. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Anton Stephenson (Nebraska) |\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Odds of Making National Team: 18\/1<\/b><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anton is the 2018 Big Ten Vault Champion and not many gymnasts land better than him on this event. He also placed second at NCAA\u2019s on Vault and finished fifth all-around at the National Qualifier. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Kanji Oyama (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 19\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kanji placed second on vault and third on parallel bars at the National Qualifier. He is a clean gymnast with great lines when he is on. Look for Kanji to make his move at U.S. Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Kiwan Watts (Arizona State) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 20\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kiwan is quite stellar on pommel horse and parallel bars. At the National Qualifier he finished top ten on three events. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Tanner Justus (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 22\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanner looks to keep the momentum going at this years U.S. Gymnastics Championships. He finished second at NCAA Championships on vault and placed third on floor at the National Qualifier. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Alexei Vernyi (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 22\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alexi was a staple for Oklahoma\u2019s floor and vault lineup this year. He decided to compete in the all-around at the National Qualifier and placed seventh.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Trevor Howard (Ohio State) |\u00a0<\/b><em><b>Odds of Making National Team: 22\/1<\/b><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trevor is looking to get back on the national team. He is recovering nicely from back surgery from earlier this year. At the National Qualifier he finished second on rings and will look to improve on the other events as U.S. Championships nears. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Gage Dyer (Oklahoma) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 22\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gage has impressive gymnastics and is a very powerful tumbler. At the National Qualifier he showed that he can not be counted out with a sixth place all-around finish. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Jake Brodarzon (Iowa) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 33\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jake placed ninth all-around at the National Qualifier and top ten on three events. If some of the top gymnasts in nation falter and Jake hits routines, he could be in the mix for a national team spot. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Jacob Moore (Michigan) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 33\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the 2018 NCAA Championships Jacob tied for silver on floor. He competed in the all-around and finished second on floor at the National Qualifier. If he hits twelve routines at U.S. Championships he will be in the top twenty. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Stephen Nedoroscik (Penn State) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 40\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stephen is a pommel horse master and a specialist on the event. He is the 2017 and 2018 NCAA pommel horse champion. If he can win pommels at U.S. Gymnastics Championships he may have a shot to make national team. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Andrian De Los Angelos (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 40\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the National Qualifier Andrian placed fourth on highbar and sixth on pommel horse. He has great lines and will score well at U.S. Championships if he can hit his routines. <\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>Kyle King (Nebraska) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 50\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kyle is explosive and a joy to watch when he running down the runway performing his handspring double front on vault. If he can catch fire at U.S. Gymnastics Championships he will put pressure on the front runners.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Jalon Stephens (Minnesota) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 50\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jalon flies like a superhero on high-bar. At NCAA Championships Minnesota started off on high-bar and Jalon got them going with an exciting routine capped off with a stuck dismount. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Tyler Schaal (Universal) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 66\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tyler is a true success story. At the National Qualifier he qualified to U.S. Gymnastics Championships for the first time after five attempts. He never gave up his dream and we will see him in Boston in a few weeks. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Seth Delbridge (Ohio State) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 75\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seth, an all-american on vault has battled through injures this entire year. At the National Qualifier he placed tenth all-around and punched his ticket to U.S. Gymnastics Championships. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Sebastian Quiana (Illinois) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 75\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebastian is one of the best tumblers in the country. He tied for second place on floor at the 2018 NCAA Championships and competed four events at the National Qualifier. <\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Kyte Crigger (UC Berkeley) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 75\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kyte competed in the all-around at the National Qualifier. He finished top twenty on three events and placed tenth on vault.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Eddie Penev (Olympic Training Center) |\u00a0<em>Odds of Making National Team: 100\/1<\/em><\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eddie Penev made the U.S. World team last year and qualified for floor finals. Two weeks ago he tore his ACL in practice.
