Jamaica Gymnastics transactions: The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has approved the change of nationality requested by Michael Reid. He is therefore allowed to compete for Jamaica at all international competitions and championships.
Michael Reid is a noticeable gymnast. He is a 3-Time NCAA All-American, 2015 NCAA Pommel Horse National Champion, and 2015 NCAA Team Champion with the University of Oklahoma. Reid is looking for the opportunity to represent Jamaica at the 2019 Artistic World Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Up next, is the 2019 Jamaica Gymnastics Classic being held in Kingston from November 30 – December 1st. The competition offers entry for men’s and women’s artistic gymnasts levels 1-10, FIG age groups, and all Xcel levels.
